Today, Jim and I went to Homecrest Kitchens and Colonial plumbing to pick out our cabinets and fixtures for the new house. Let's just say that I don't do well with random numbers and lines on a piece of paper - from High School math homework, to, say, the blueprints to my new house- I'm a visual, hand's on kind of girl. When I had Jamie from Homecrest take me to a kitchen layout in the dimensions of my kitchen, the waterworks started. It was TINY!!! Fortunately, Jamie (with the help of his CAD program) made everything better. I sacrificed my "nook" for more counterspace and a peninsula, and everything is going to be OK !
